Re: Sims 4 sims coming home and going to work and school late

@fashionbug123 Did you ever fiddle with MCCC time/speed changing ? That can break your save permanently.

Do you have the same issue if you try a new save without mods/cc ?

I did not mess with MCCC time/speed that it on default and yes I tried it on a new save without mods and the same thing happened also Pausing it when work and school finish works and I did not mess with MCCC time/speed that’s on default and it’s happened on a new save file with and without mods and CC. Idk why it’s happening on my game and how to fix it without me pausing it when they should automatically come and go by themselves

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • ConfigOverride, if you have your own configuration files.
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

I tried that and I work for a while but it just happened again. I do not  know if all my saves are corrupted. In a brand new save file I tested without mods and it worked and with mods it worked in a brand new save. But in my original with and without mods and cc it doesn’t work. I’m tired of starting over every time this happens over and over again.

I think my whole save files corrupted but i don't know  I tested without mods and its not letting my sims not come home i don't want to start over  because this is the million time starting over with mods which i use because i cant do without mods especially MC Command Centre and Better exceptions those two are the only ones that can detect whats going on with my mods. I do not know if its a bug or my whole save files are corrupted and my mods broke the entire thing that it cant be use i'm so sad and disappointing I'm going to  cry. Why is it keep happening to me.

@fashionbug123 If you don't get the issue on new saves that never had mods in, then it's very probably that your saves are corrupted. Time issues isn't something that goes away if you remove the mods,

Are you using the time changing mechanisms of MCCC ? Like slowing down time and stuff ? That is known to cause permanent corruption to saves.
