Re: Sims can no longer play guitar around campfire.

@crinrict Let me try something first. One of my households is on vacation in Granite Falls and they were just able to play the guitar at the campfire. I *thought* I had first noticed the problem in Granite Falls and then they couldn't play around the campfire at home either - but now I'm not so sure.

I'll test it some more and see if it keeps working.

@Crinrict The problem seems to have resolved itself in my game. I've tried it in every travel location in Granite Falls and Sims can play/sing around the campfire again - even at home:

I'd be happy to still send you the bugged file if you'd like, but I have two questions about that:

1) I have no idea how the save files are organized and there are more than 300 individual saves associated with my single game, so I'm not sure how to isolate the bugged one(s). [It takes 2-1/2 to 3 minutes just to get to the spot where I can type in a new name for a save file - I timed it. I save often and keep them all, so I can go back to an earlier version if things *really* get fouled up.]

2) I have no clue where a free anonymous upload service might be. Any suggestions?

1) Best thing to do is to start the game, save it under a new name and then the game will be the one with the newest date

2) Mediafire or dropbox are my preference.

I would clean out some old saves you don't need anymore. Just move them to another place on your hard drive or a memory stick. It will speed up your game. Choose the ones with older dates (those would be the ones you haven't played in a while)

tried your save. Took a while to load but I then tried your home lot and Granite Falls and had no issues playing the guitar around the campfire.

Are you sure you sent me the correct file ?

I only have one file, and I sent the most recent version of that file.

This issue appeared to resolve itself and I haven't been able to duplicate it since - even in older saves. I'm sorry if I did not communicate that very well. I thought, perhaps, you wanted to look at the Fish-info-missing-while-fertilizing-plants issue. So sorry that I made you waste your valuable time!

I thought you started a new game and it worked fine in that one but still not in the old one.
