Re: Sims serenade too much

@RipRizzle, @Goodywood

It's in the MC Tuner module. Click on your sim and choose MC Command Center > MC Tuner > Enable Autonomy Scan, then click the other Sim and pick Serenading. You can forbid a lot of actions in MC Tuner's autonomy scan.

It'll add a string to mc_tuner.cfg:

139900,self_Social_Serenade

I've also forbidden toilet pranking, cooking in the cauldron, and teens hacking their own school grades (for some reason if you have a club with "repair" as an activity, teens will try to hack their own school grades even if they have an A already!). Also children autonomously making messes, which is ten lines!

If you're having trouble finding it, you could create a file called mc_tuner.cfg and add that line.

    @xochiquetzl_xkvn

    I appreciate the information on how to stop this behavior using MCCC. I actually haven't ever used the autonomy scan feature, so I can see how I would have overlooked its usefulness. I will give this a shot as I attempt to send my next heirs to university. Hopefully they can get more studying done and not have to constantly deal with their roommate trying to serenade them all day long.

    Thanks again.

    This issue is getting quite annoying. I sent my next 3 sims to university with a solo roommate, the game spawned a bi-sexual male who has decided to go from sim to sim serenading them. What I dislike most about this issue is that I have to constantly remove an embarrassment mood from my own sims. If one of my sims is writing their term paper and the roommate decides he wants to serenade he will start the action continually until I cancel writing the paper and tell him to * off.

    After attempting to use MCCC tuner, as suggested by @xochiquetzl_xkvn , I have found that this option only applies to sims that you control. Thus this feature is only useful when stopping your own sims when having full autonomy turned on. This is not applicable to my situation as I do not control the roommate. It has gotten so bad that the roommate will serenade so often that the will not care for himself and ends up urinating on the floor and passing out, often times in his own urine. Not to mention the stink from him refusing to shower. I see nothing that will help stop this behavior. I have destroyed his violin more times than I can count, but he just ends up with a new one. There is a chance that I have been able to finally stop this using MCCC, but I had to manually add a string and cross my fingers. Regardless, I should not have to rely on a mod to stop this behavior. (Confirmed that MCCC was unable to stop this behavior)

    Any help from EA would be greatly appreciated.

    EDIT: The original reports here are about sims that they control in their families, mine is not the same situation. If needed I can start a new bug report, but I figured this was the best place to report this.

    @RipRizzle

    I have NOT attempted this. BUT.

    There's a roommate quirk system where roommates engage in various quirky behaviors, like bringing in baked goods, cleaning, making messes, etc. One of those is "woo." "Woo" is the following your Sim around blowing kisses and serenading them all day behavior.

    If you use MC Cheats, you might find the roommate behavior under buff control and be able to remove it. I'm assuming this will roll the dice and give him a chance of developing another behavior. (It might also be a trait, but I assume it's a buff.)

    </done work for EA; have not tried this>

    Greetings & and thanks for your work !

    I have this romantic-singing problem when i use a group (friendship-dlc/Windenburg) : one of the actions the groupmembers shall do is "romantic interaction" (like flirt) ... The ONLY romantic/flirt interaction the sims are using is :  singen to ...

    And that happens 100% everytime i build a group and give this order.

    It'not only anoing !! it's sad too,, because there are so much other romantic things the sim could do ...

    Just to notice.

    Thanks for your time !
