Re: Toddlers/Infants Will Not Eat Food/Sleep/Babble

I have the same problem but my toddlers aren't werewolves. Yesterday, I saved and exited, upon loading up the save, she was eating. However today the problem is back. The only thing she can eat is fruit or vegetables in her inventory.

There is also an issue with infants, they cant sleep.

I just discovered that infants trying to babble is bugged as well. It was working fine, at first. I was queuing up babble to unlock the social interactions and my infant is now just sitting there. I'm going to try saving and exiting to main menu. I'll tweak the title as now it affects not only toddlers not eating, but infants with sleeping/babbling. I don't know how to put them to find it as I'm not sure myself. It just kinda happens.

Here is a video of my infant just idling with babble interactions queued up.

Edit: In regards to infants babbling, I tried saving and exiting to main menu and straight up exiting the game. Despite these two methods, my infant still cannot babble. This is frustrating as this was a way to unlock the social milestones quickly. I was not having this problem before the most recent update. Now my infant is broken and unable to babble.

Edit 2: After having the father of my bugged infant interact with him (i.e. kisses, blowing raspberries, etc.) my infant is now able to babble again. I don't know if that fixed it or if there is now a cool down on how many babble interactions you can do (like the bug for babbling to stuffed animals), but it's back for now.

Edit 3: I tried a save before the latest update. It seems the infants are affected in saves made before the patch as well. Trying to babble will cause them to idle. Something I noticed was that there will be a time where they can get in a couple babble interactions and then they can no longer do it. They will idle and maybe a sim day they can babble a few more times, rinse and repeat. This makes unlocking social milestones difficult as now I can't que up a bunch of social interactions on the infants end. Parents can still interact with their infants like normal/no problem. It's just on the infants side where the problem occurs.

Edit 4: So, I had queued up the max amount of babble interactions for my infant. Him and his dad having just been standing there doing a staring contest for about 11 in-game hours. Not once did they talk. And it seems it's bugged on the parents end as well. I queued up the dad's socials of talking to the infant and it worked well, but now it's acting like the infants babbling.
