I aged my sims up on a Friday and waited until Monday but didn't get any graduation ceremony. I checked on the calendar and nothing showed on Sunday, I even tried turning off Get Famous because I also had the Starlight Accolades happening on a Sunday but still no graduation. 

My sim aged up on Friday and got notification she graduated and her diploma would be arriving soon. I then went into the calendar and saw the graduation ceremony for Sunday. If there are several activities going on that day there will not be a specific icon for graduation so it is easy to miss. I personally thing the graduation should be on the calendar to begin with but I guess it makes sense if people play on different lifespans and whether or not your sim continues with school. 

This isn't the case for me ☹️

It is indeed the Accolades also, but no Graduation event to be found even though the Sim had their birthday two days ago.

Never modded game on PC.

I've actually had three Sims graduate and never once seen the Graduation nor been invited to it - until a few minutes ago I didn't know there was SUPPOSED to be one.

Someone else suggested just turning up at the auditorium at 6pm, which I did, but it was empty.

EDIT: It's there on the following week! So I guess it needs a certain amount of time to generate after age-up!

Another edit: The event has now disappeared. Since I switched households briefly, I assume that's why. I thought I'd be able to play another family while I waited for it ;__;
