- @veyvey Do you by chance have two evergreen harbor worlds ?
Hi there, I only have 1 evergreen expansion pack.
Do u know wat is the issue ? 🥹🥹
- @veyvey I meant the world. When you check the world overview, are there two worlds for the expansion packs ?
It is a known issue and all you can do is disable the pack, then save with the pack disabled and then enable it again.
Detailed instructions here: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2022/06/world-appears-twice-on-world-map/
Just need to know if you have two worlds so I can merge this with the proper bug report. yes, i have just checked, there have 2 world in this game, plus i have MOD too.
- @veyvey I merged this with the main thread then.
Try the workaround in the solution post on the first page and click me too on the first page. I've got two Copperdales and two Moonwood Mills, and I am pretty sure this is because I told EA not to install them till I finished playing, but it happened anyway (it also installed all my packs when I put the game onto a new PC instead of letting me choose, so I probably have a setting somewhere I haven't changed...)
The first Copperdale has no buildings that can be accessed. All the families etc are in the second one. Sometimes it crashes but mostly it doesn't. I do have occasional crashes when sims visit other lots but not enough to be game breaking and usually after a lot of playing so I put this down to my laptop getting cranky and having had enough.
I'm mentioning this because I did NOT get duplicates of all the characters across these two worlds. I do tend to delete characters I've played with before on a new install, but these were new EPs so I definitely did not delete them. I DO have two Rory whatever she's called but I think that's a glitch from Get to Work, where she was a suspect in the crime scenario and may have been duplicated. She's the only one, and occasionally she calls me up and tells me she's made friends with herself, which is quite funny so I haven't done anything about her 🙂
I haven't checked the other Moonwood Mill neighbourhood but I think the first ones are not fully installed versions from when EA installed while I was playing and then the other are the fully formed versions. It's annoying having two but the workaround sounds more game destructive so for now I'm leaving it be. I just wanted to note that I don't have extra townies, just extra neighbourhoods in my experience.
