I have also been having issues with the game freezing at loading, I started having issues when the Reaper Event started. I even got to the point that I uninstalled and re-installed the EA App and the Sims 4 games, and I still can't get in. I get to the starting screen, and when I click options or new game the screen goes white and I have to restart my computer.
Mine froze on loading today. It does sometimes freeze when I have been playing a while and two events coincide too closely, like a club meeting and then an invitation out, which is understandable. But last night one of my houses froze three times and I had to move out the sim family, and today, my main house froze while loading the reaper rewards tab. It actually froze with the reaper reward things half loaded, so I'm sure that was the reason. This house is normally fine with no issues and no mods or CC.
