In build mode, the floor of a room has started to flash blue and is tricky to click on the whole room. It happened since I tried adding platforms to that room then removed them I restarted my game and laptop but still no use.

Yep.  Had the same thing happen to me on all the recessed platforms on a lot.  All mine were 1 click down instead of up.  This should not happen.
