Romance Consultant career bugs

My sim reached the top of the Romance Consultant career in the Matchmaker route and hasn't been able to get additional promotions/raises since, despite going to work with all the promotion and daily tasks completed, and the performance tick yellow. I thought it might be a similar situation as a City Living bug from 2017 where the City Living careers had their "overmax" settings disabled, so getting promoted past level 10 wasn't possible, however my Sim just had the random event to choose fame and lose her job. Given that her job was stagnant with no more raises/promotions, she opted for the fame. I got the notification saying she's elevated her fame and left her career, but it's still showing that she's a Certified Dating Specialist. There's more to this bug!

    Which language are you playing the game in? 
    How often does the bug occur? 
    What is your current game version number? 
    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? 
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 
    What happens when the bug occurs? 
    What do you expect to see? 
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?
