Screen jumps back to world selection screen after loading screen when

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? Nederlands
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.90.375.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? everything except: country living, snowy escape, werewolves, wedding stories, journey to batuu, kids room, cool kitchen, luxurious party
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load a family, try to travel to a lot, wait for the lot to load.
What happens when the bug occurs? You jump back to the world selection screen.
What do you expect to see? I want to see the lot I selected after the loading screen.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Hi! Since the patch update we had at the end of July, my game has a bug.

I can open a family lot, but when I want to travel, the game jumps back to the world selection screen after the loading screen. It happens with different families.

Things I already tried:

- repairing the game

- repairing the save file

- jumping back to an older save file

Also something weird: There is a gap in my save files between the beginning of july 2022 and may 2020, so I would rather not go back to the 2020 save file.

I hope someone can help me. 🙂

    Hi, I have mods but I removed them and the issue still continues. No error message. I select the household's house to begin playing but after the loading screen it takes me back to select a world. This continues over and over. I haven't been able to play any Sims since the last update.

    I am having  a similar issue too.  My game won't load any lots after the first one I enter, just boots be back out the world selection screen every time. I'm on PS4, so there's no way for me to repair my game.  I even tried unintalling and reintalling it, but the bug still persists. This wasn't happening before the High School Years patch.  Also this effects all my saves even new ones.

    @Ferglont Does a new save work ?

    This is usually a problem with a particular save game but if you don't get any error message it could be any number of things.

    Console is insanely difficult to troubleshoot for this so do test a new save first.

    Did you test multiple households too ?
