@Neechan1 @crinrict it didn't work for me. I might have missed a couple of steps.
I saved a backup of the game in case. I moved my two main sims to their parents. Then I disabled SE.
As in step 4, I received a missing pack data warning. I didn't play the family. I quit game and re-enabled SE.
First, I started where I left off. My two sims with their parents. I planned the excursion by phone, and got the llama pic.
Second, I tried recovering the game, just before they moved in with their parents. I planned the excursion by phone, and got the llama pic again.
Third, I downloaded my main two sims from the library into a new save. It worked. But all their belongings and family tree are gone. I don't wanna play this way.
So what am I missing here? I feel like I should do overwriting saves somewhere but don't know where and when.
The parents and my two main sims are in the same save game. I think I did a mistake there. But didn't understand the steps exactly.
Ok, found what I missed. I should've played the family for 3 seconds or something at my first step. I'm able to send them on the excursion now but Kaori's genealogy is missing at this point. And some of her traits I guess. I don't know how to fix that. Her aspiration is also changed but her skills and job are up there. Except for her SE skills like rock climbing and snowboarding. Hate this bug.
There's this new (old) Kaori duplicate who lives with her parents. Maybe I should kill my Kaori and start over again with the new (old) Kaori and cheat all her skills to catch up with mine.
@sbuxny was the rest of the family removed ? If so, try moving the entire family instead of just the Sim.
Then delete the new family
@crinrict I'm not sure which family you're asking but somehow I fixed everything. I don't know what I did in terms of steps/process but at the end I changed 'my' Kaori's name, appearance, everything and moved her alone somewhere. So she turned out to be another sim with a new identity. I could delete her as well but I didn't.
Mt. Komorebi started off as I recently purchased the expansion pack. So Nishidake household was again 3 people, teen Kaori and her parents. I used cheats, aged her up and boost her skills. Now she's living with my main character.
Sorry, too much information 😳 but let's keep this ticket open cause it cost me a lot of time to get here and a player shouldn't deal with sorts of things. Once again thank you for your help.
