@TheSims4Gaming Right click on the game in Origin and hit repair game.

Make sure the game is closed before doing so

Unfortunately, that didn't work. Should I just uninstall the game and reinstall it?

    @TheSims4Gaming No, don't think that's necessary. I'd say let's wait till after the patch on June 2nd and then please re-test if you still have issues.

    We'll go from there then.

    Alright, good idea. Hopefully, that'll fix the problem because building with this bug is really inconvenient. Thanks for all your help so far!
