Is anyone else having an issue with Sims 4, the Country Living pack, the corner kitchen shelf? Not the dish one, but the curved one with the knick-knacks on it. It's supposed to butt against the cabinet next to it, but I'm noticing it does not cooperate and instead keeps skipping to the node next to it during attempted placement. Alt does not help. It -rarely- clicks into place, but by the time it does, you're moving your cursor around and 'miss' it. I have submitted 3 pics showing the issue. It is not an issue with placing over the garbage can, because as you can see in Pic 3, it does the same issue on the opposite wall, so it's also not a directional issue. It refuses to butt against the other cabinet, instead 'skipping' over that node and bouncing to the next one. I eventually had to move the cabinet, place the corner shelf on the wall, THEN move the cabinet back in order to achieve the effect I wanted.
- @MagpieMorrigan I build quite a lot and I see what you mean, the outer corner cabinets are tricky to place because they are meant to be placed on outer corners (which I pretty much never have in my kitchens.. :D).
You can try this:
First off, use bb.moveobjects, it helps. When you're trying to get the cabinet in place and you hover with it on the "node" next to the one you want to place it, try using the rotate keys. You know, the ones you use normally to rotate things before placing them down. You might need to use the up and down keys too to get the height right when using this placement method. I usually get the outer corner cabinets to place where I want them to but it does require some extra patience. :/
And if you run out of patience, try the TOOL mod. :D
