Sims cancel actions

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? Nederlands
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.100.147.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get to Work, Get Together, City Living, Island Living, Get Famous, Eco Lifestyle, Cottage Living, Seasons, Snowy Escape, High School Years, University, Cats and Dogs Spa Day, Dream Home Decorator, stranherVille, Realm of magic, Jungle adventures, Dine out, Tiny Living, Desert luxe kit
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Select any action for your sim.
What happens when the bug occurs? the sim cancels every action I tell it to do. Sometimes they stay there for a long time while the action is in their task bar. Eventually the sim cancels the action. All the sim does is the action; 'See what happens'.
What do you expect to see? That the sim immediately does what I tell them to.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

The problem occurs with only 1 family. Other families in the same save file do not have this problem. However, I don't want to play with another family, because I have been playing with this family for 5 generations. The strange thing is that 1 person in the family (in-law) does not have the problem. My suspicion is therefore that the problem lies within this family.

I have already tried moving the family, and clearing out their inventories (also household inventory). I did already repair my game. These solutions work, but only for a short time. After a few hours of playing the problem comes back. I have included a video of the problem.

  • @Aniek1998 What I find fascinating about Sims cancelling actions is they just do it with no warning and no real reason to do it either. I'll queue up a bunch of stuff and sometimes it all just gets dropped with no indicators as to why.
