Sims eat outside instead of inside

Question

Product: The Sims 4Platform:PCWhich language are you playing the game in? EnglishHow often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)What is your current game version number? Unsure, but I have all the updates (couldn't find the number sorry)What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have all products installed.Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I assume you could make this work with having multiple tables and chairs outside with doors near by.What happens when the bug occurs? Despite having a dining room the next room over (I believe within 15 or so tiles I am currently using Olde Mill Hill lot) all Sims will choose to eat outside (including in inclement weather) instead of inside. I have removed the table that was directly outside under the Pergola and it was working for a while but now they go to the actual back deck. I assume this is due to the AI finding the nearest eating surface and since it is technically closer they go there instead of staying inside. I would not have a problem with this if it only happened when it was nice (late spring, summer, early fall) but not when it was raining, snowing, or freezing.What do you expect to see? Sims should eat inside when weather is bad (raining, snowing, freezing) but may opt to eat outside when weather is nice (still not winter, I don't eat outside in winter but I also don't eat outside any other time. I'm inside, I don't like outside.)Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No‌I think I attached a screenshot, unsure.

I’ve seen this happen occasionally even with off-lot benches, but usually only if I don’t initially have a table in the build. Still, Sims would walk past a couch or chair, go out the door and down the block, and sit at a bench there to eat. I could queue get leftovers, sit here, but then they’d go all the way down the block, sit on the bench, stand up again and come all the way back, and only then sit and eat. Which wasted an awful lot of time so I usually just gave up and let them eat at whatever neighborhood bench they’d chosen. I don’t have Seasons though so never had to worry about weather, just wasted time if the Sim was hungry or late to work.

@Cfenn09&nbsp;I have that happening on some of my lots depending on how things are arranged.&nbsp; The way I deal with it is to place the meal on the table where I want them to eat and either use call to meal, or grab a meal.&nbsp; Then they will use the table I want them to.&nbsp;&nbsp;Hope this helps.

They only do this when they autonomously eat.&nbsp; When I tell them to 'Grab Meal' they usually eat inside, however if I use 'Get Leftovers' they will about 90% of the time still go outside.&nbsp; Thank you for the advise though! I appreciate any and all tips!

@Cfenn09&nbsp;Another thing you can do when you use the Get Leftovers option is to queue a chair right after so they will sit in that chair to eat.&nbsp; They may go outside first, but then they will usually get right back up and go where you told them to sit to eat.&nbsp; I do that to and it works most of the time.Hope this helps.
