@simvasion No they’re both young adult now, they got together as teenagers but have both aged up

@alannahmessett I've never tried using the Promised action before (because there was a bug in the old days where teens would age up and never be able to get engaged. I think that's fixed but I still never use it).
I don't know if the game considers that a relationship - do they have the option to "Ask to be Boyfriend/Girlfriend" in their romantic options? You need to have that to be considered not single. That then gets replaced by engaged and married.

- 6 years ago@simvasion No they don’t have the ask to be boyfriend/girlfriend option, and they can do all of the usual romantic options, it’s just a really small annoying bug.
So I’ve just tested it with a few other sims - making them boyfriend and girlfriend and they don’t have the option of asking if single. So I think it’s something to do with My original sims being promised/aging up from teens during their relationship!
