Sims Relationships Reverting after editing in CAS

Product: The Sims 4
Platform: Windows / EA App
Which language are you playing the game in? English 
How often does the bug occur? Every time
What is your current game version number? PC: 1.108.335.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All EPs except Lovestruck, all Game Packs, all Stuff Packs.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Edit the Caliente family in cas.fulleditmode to make Don and Katrina Partners. Load the lot, they appear as expected. Go back to CAS and they revert to being Household Members.
What happens when the bug occurs? Relationships revert from Partners to Household Members.
What do you expect to see? For relationships to stay as Partners.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes, MC Command Center and UI Cheats so that I could more easily change the relationships. Bug still occurs with the mods removed.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Most noticeable with the 07/26/2024 patch because of the ability to have Partners in CAS. However, I do believe that I had trouble having romance carry over with sims in that particular household when I save them to my tray or the gallery - romance doesn't transfer.

    Having this very same issue with a custom household, whom I hadn't played with in a while. Unsure if I simply forgot to make them partners when I first created them, or if the bug affects that too.

    How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
    What is your current game version number? 1.111.102.1030
    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All up to Life & Death
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Set two Sims as "Partners" in CAS. Save them to the gallery. Then place the couple FROM THE GALLERY into the world and play them - no romance or "partner" label between them.
    What happens when the bug occurs? Importing 2 Sims from the gallery that are "partners" - the partner relationship and romance is lost.
    What do you expect to see? Setting 2 Sims as "Partners" should make them "partners" with romance bar.
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
    Please describe the patch or change you made. After the pre-Lovestruck patch that introduced setting "Partners" in CAS. The feature simply doesn't work properly.

    Take any two Sims from the gallery that are "partners" and the partner relationship (along with romance bar) will be lost.

    Im so happy that others are noticing this problem. I thought for some reason I was like misclicking it, but it kept happening with a couple of families I created. They will be Partners, and then I will see that one of the wishes would be that want to propose when I thought I already made them a married couple from thr start. I would then check in CAS and see they are just household members even though I remember picking partner when I first created and saved the family.

    I really hope they fix this bug cause I hate having to do extra steps now to cheat them to marry when this wasnt something that was needed before.
