This is suddenly happening in my save too. Annoying because the last time I played in this house, I raised a whole family with no problem (and this is my only bathroom in this tiny house!).
I moved everything out of my bathroom + tried switching out the sink + still didn't work. My sims can stand right in front of the sink but think there's something blocking them.
