With the new high school years update I have had multiple deaths due to hunger but their hunger bar is at 100%. My children younger then teens kept getting taken due to neglect even though their needs are perfectly fine and I don’t even get a notification before they are taken it just happens. So is this a bug from the new update or is my game just broken? And I the only one that is having this problem?
- @Kagomegirl2004 I merged your post with the main thread. Are you using any mods/cc ? If so, could you please try without them ?
Everyone is having this glitch and its not mods or cc so tell us how to fix it
It's definitely not just you and definitely the last update.
I got onto my game yesterday for the first time in over a month and while playing as a couple, while sleeping, suddenly one of them got up and started walking off somewhere, with a new "fear of death" thing. I was confused why he woke up with that. And then a "mourning" moodlet thing appeared and I was confused who died. Then realized that his partner had just completely disappeared - no death animation or anything, and in his relationships showed up as being dead.
I was annoyed, as I've heard there have been many issues with random deaths since last update, and quit the game.
Also, I had turned auto aging off before I started playing, which I'd heard someone say would fix the issue of random deaths. But it did not.
The game is soooo broken now. Literally can't event play it with out something messing up almost instantly.
Can confirm I've been losing sims without any notification or animations either. I still have the recently updated SOL mod installed so I'm gonna try removing that after reading this thread. But in my last save I had one sim and she was literally still visible asleep in bed on the first day when I got the game over screen. A silent killer.
I was having issues where they'd die from starvation with no warning. Removed all mods made settings like new. ... except I hadn't disabled testingcheat true to false.... once i turned that off my sims started going through the proper stages of discomfort again. Rather than the insta death lol. Try making sure this is off.
