Stairs leading to cellar are darker?

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Xbox Series X
Which language are you playing the game in? Deutsch
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.48.5.2300
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All!
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I played stairs in small room leading down to cellar and I copied the light brown stairs I used with pipette.
What happens when the bug occurs? The stairs look much darker
What do you expect to see? Same color / hue
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Is this a lighting problem?

    When I try to upload a image on mobile the image seems to be over the button to proceed. Tried landscape / portrait but it does not work. Attachment seems to work.

    I'm on PC but this happens for me too.  It has been like this for a while now,  I'm not sure but I think it started when we got the bent stairs but it might go back even longer.  If you go to the floor below and turn on the lights, then go back up and look, you should see that the posts and railings of the stair down will match that from the stair above then.  It's the difference in lighting levels on the 2 floors that causes it.  The stairs pick up their lighting from the floor on which they were originally placed.

    I agree with you, it shouldn't happen but it does.
