To get rid of Picky Eater You can age up sim, from teen to YA , go to game mode and back to CAS and age down to teen. Picky Eater is gone.
i really am irritated that i had to age then de-age to get rid of this phase... why am i being punished for playing rotationally?? i've gone an entire sim YEAR trying to get rid of this by "discuss better eating habits" and it's not going away!
it also resulted in said child sim losing:

club
school grade
milestones
