testingcheats on & mailbox

I sometimes us testingcheats on and shift click the mailbox to change my households moods. It's not a big problem but just want to let you know every time my Sim travels and returns, the cheat won't work until I enter the testingcheats on cheat in the cheat box again.

    • Testing cheatsare now saved per household.
      1. This means that once you turn on ‘testingcheats true’ they will remain enabled until you decide to turn them off with the 'testingcheats false' command.
      2. This includes through travel, save, quit, restart, a weekend at your grandmothers, an afternoon at the beach, or just because you needed some space. Because you were tired of always having to come up with new answers when your Sims would look at you and ask “What are you thinking about?”

    Guess that counts as solved for this issue.

    Yea, I constantly have to type in a cheat. After typing testingcheats o I take the sim into cas, come out and the cheat off again. On top of that, when I edit a npc sim and come out of cas, they kick me out of my household and now I am controlling the npc sim that I edited who has no house or anything. This has happened multiple times.

    I noticed two rather...annoying issues with the cheat console interface.

    1. Most importantly, I have to re-enter "testingcheats on" every time I A) travel to another destination, or B) edit in CAS

    2. Unlike in The Sims 3, I cannot click the "up arrow" to the previously entered console command. I have to copy then paste or re-type (after it resets in the situations stated above).

    I hope I'm in the right place to ask this question. I use the cheat "testingcheatsTrue" when I play and ever since I downloaded GTW i have to continuously enter it. Every time my sims travel to a different location or when they go to work. Usually I can enter it once and it works no matter where my sims are. Is this happening to anyone else?? Is there a way around this?? Thanks in advance!

    This is still an unresolved issue with testingcheats and particularly needs decay.

    I am running on Win7, have just downloaded all but one active expansion/gamepack/etc, don't have any CC or mods <never have> and this is still not working.

    Could you be a bit more specific ?

    Cheats are generally unsupported so I don't think chances are hight that this is further tweaked.
