Time freeze comming back from build mode

Product: The Sims 4
Platform: Mac
Which language are you playing the game in?: French
How often does the bug occur?: Each time I come back from build mode or sometime when I pause and unpause the game.
What is your current game version number?: 1.99.305.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed?:

  • Get to work
  • Cats and Dogs
  • City Living
  • Discover University
  • Eco Lifestyle
  • Get Famous
  • Seasons
  • Cottage Living
  • Outdoor Retreat
  • Realm of Magic
  • Vampires
  • Jungle Adventure
  • Strangerville
  • Desert Luxe

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves?: Go into buy mode and come back
What happens when the bug occurs?: The game freeze for about 45 seconds. I can click on stuff but the time is frozen. 
What do you expect to see?: The game to be playable after I come back from build mode. 
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?: No
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?: No
Please describe the patch or change you made.: None

    I've changed my graphic settings. I play in screen mode and it's much better now. I havent had an issue since. Thank you for your follow-ups, you are to kind!

    @ScreenName000001 

    There is always a little delay when entering and returning from build mode, returning from CAS and returning from sims taking pictures with the cameras where the game seems to stop for a few seconds.  The quick fix is to hit escape to bring up the options menu and then close it.

    Thank you @CGrant56 but the time is advancing on the clock and the Sims are frozen. Then the time jumps back like 45 minutes.

    Does it do that if you pause the game before going to build mode?  That does make a difference at times.
