Toddlers are becoming stuck in the “eat food” interaction without actually eating their food. The hunger bar continues to go down as normal but is not replenished. This is true for all kinds of meals, (cooked, quick, grand) and happens both in and out of the high chair. Their action queue includes the “eat ___” interaction but no animation plays and they don’t actually eat it. No similar problem applies to any other life stages, including infants.
@RhysEvan1505I found that saving and exiting to manage world then reloading back into the family fixes it.
