This does seem to like it has something to do with the speed though as @simvasion mentioned above.

If you don't speed up the game, do you get the issue was well ?

It does kind of seem like it has something to do with the speed but it happens sometimes when I don't use the speed button, so I'm not sure. :/

      Yes, twice. Once when we were trying to figure out why there was no read option on books last week and then the other day again for this problem and the one I also posted about my sims skill bar levels dropping and going over 100% as well.
