Unable to tend garden after installing Discover University

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.80.69.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cats and Dogs, City Living, Cottage Living, Discover University, Get Famous, Get Together, Dream Home Decorator, Outdoor Retreat, Realm of Magic, Vampires, Luxury Party Stuff, Movie Hangout Stuff, Paranormal Stuff, Romantic Garden Stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to the ritual grounds in Britechester. Click on the harvestable plants in the area. While having DU installed, go to any world with harvestables and click on plant.
What happens when the bug occurs? There is no option to tend the garden or plants- no option to water, weed, spray for bugs, or harvest. Only interactions available are view plan, uproot plant, take cutting, or collect sample. Bug affects other locations in game and can not complete gardening interactions.
What do you expect to see? Options to water, weed, spray for bugs, or harvest.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I purchased Discover University and the bug occurred. Bug remained after removing all mods and CC and still occurs in vanilla game.

After buying and installing Discover University, there were no options to interact with and harvestable plants in any of the worlds.
Even when enabling cheats, plants produce no harvestables or do no go to selected state

    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Download the December 5, 2023 update and try to garden.
    What happens when the bug occurs? Out of season plants develop weeds and bugs and need watered, but you cannot address any of these issues. Only two actions are available (uproot plant and collect microscope sample) and to greyed out options (Harvest (out of season) and hire professional gardener) Gardeners are also unable to address the issues and the plants eventually die.
    What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to water plants that need watering, weed plants that need weeding, and spray for bugs on plants with bugs regardless of season.

    Please describe the patch or change you made. I downloaded the required update this morning (December 5, 2023)

    Although I'm no longer surprised when a Sims 4 required update breaks something, it's still irritating. Moving them in and out of household inventory does not fix it. For now I have moved plants under shelter and placed out of season trees into my inventory to be pulled out when the are back in season. This is not game breaking, just frustrating that yet again gardening is bugged.

    @Jayrae316 I've gone about one in-game week since installing the patch and none of the out of season outdoor/unsheltered plants are growing weeds, getting infested by bugs, or are requiring watering. None of them seem to be dying. They're just sitting dormant. All of my in-season plants are acting normal, ie producing harvestibles, needing watering, growing weeds, etc. I'll keep trying, but so far, I can't reproduce what you are seeing. Have you tried repairing your game?

    PS5 version. Cannot tend Spite’s garden, even if I cheat the plants to make them arid, overgrown, or blossoming.
