The problem with food disappearing continues. They've fixed the issue with food vanishing from retail lots but it is still disappearing from other venue lots. I have some lounges, bars. and clubs with buffet tables of food and the Fountain of Mirth and it is gone. The latest patched only fixed it from the Get To Work/Retail perspective but it has to also be fixed overall.
I doubt that's a bug tbh.
This is just my opinion but I think they introduced a lot cleanup (or maybe even fixed a bug as this was intended from start) with get together and overdid it to included the retail lots.
That has now been fixed and is working as intended.
I can try if I can get some clarifications from the gurus though
Yeah please do that.....thank you so much......because if they intended this then I can vouch for alot of Simmers by saying we don't want that happening. I have a wedding lot with cakes set up and nice food and if it's cleaning it out like that then what fun is that to have to keep plopping down a backup of the lot every time my Sims visit for a wedding. Same goes for my bars that are set up like restaurants.
I know people are using that as workaround but there's the other side too.
I personally hated the food that was on the community lots all the time and like it much better this way :D
Can you please explain how you've encountered this problem? I believe I've witnessed this as well however I may be seeing another problem. What I'm seeing is that after sims create or eat food, when they're directed to perform another activity or switch activities autonomously, the food vanishes on autonomous placement and I've only seen this with counters. I've dismissed it as a random slot selection failure since I've also noticed plates hanging from foundations and within walls.
