[UNDER INVESTIGATION] - Sim can't use objects from backpacks

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.79.25
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Search for the "Don’t Break Your Back-pack" in Build/Buy Mode and place it on the floor. Then, go into Live Mode and place items inside of the backpack, such as a book. Click the "Open" option on the backpack and click on the book to tell your sim to read it.
What happens when the bug occurs? Once you click on the book from the backpack to read it, the action won't even show up in their queue, as if the book does not exist. They can't place it in the world, either. None of the options work on items that are inside of the backpack. It is not functional.
What do you expect to see? Sims should be able to use the items that are in their backpacks, like they do bookshelves or their personal inventories.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
Are they only functional for storage? Is it a bug that I can click on action options for items while they are inside of the backpacks?
