[UNDER INVESTIGATION] Perfect Trash Plant produces Normal Trash Fruit

Crinrict,an addendum to this issue:

After about twenty harvest cycles, the Perfect Trash Plant is now partially producing Perfect Trash Fruit.

Each harvest will produce five Trash Fruit with the harvest comprised of two Perfect Trash Fruit and three Normal Trash Fruit.

Glad that there are Perfect Trash Fruit evident, but odd that there is a mix of Perfect and Normal with no gradient quality observed in any of the quality progression.

I use the trash fruits as fertilisers, since they have no real value ($1 for Normal, upto $4 for Perfect, though I do see the occasional $8 or $16). Fish are by far a better fertiliser, but if I dont have fish lying around, these are a better option than wasting my other fruits. I assumed this would work like manure irl and be a very good fertiliser, but this has not proven to be the case.

I do find I have a good mix of qualities of fruits from my perfect plant, which I find odd as all other plant types only create perfect, but I assumed it was because it was trash. I have perfect, pristine, magnificent superb etc, all from the perfect plant.

I had wondered if the fruits were degrading in value whilst in my  inventory, but I have not looked into this.

I have had the plants a long time, and I dont think they actually do attract more flies than the other plants, however, they do give the nearby sims a negative moodlet as they feel the place is a mess.

Yep me too!!! In fact all my stuff was at first and somehow I weeded that out. Now I have all Perfect except for the trash plant. I saved my Trash Plant in storage for the time being.

I'm actually having this problem as well. I've evolved my trash plant to Excellent without ever seeing anything except normal fruit.

Just in case anyone actually WANTS perfect trash fruits, you get them consistently by splicing them onto other plants.
