Undo button in B/B not working

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? SP37: 1.assets.bets-sp37.28
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Journey to Batu, Realm of Magic, Vampires and Werewolves, My first pet
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I’ve removed mods a turned the game on and off a few times but it keeps happening. It was fine until this morning.
What happens when the bug occurs? Undo & redo button in B/B don’t work
What do you expect to see? Buttons stay blank
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

when I opened b/b today the undo & redo buttons weren’t working. I removed my mods and restarted the game a few times and it’s still not working.

    Try the following

    • Close the game
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    • Repair the game through EA app
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
    • Start a new save game
    • Check if you still have the error
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

    @crinrict Hi i had this issue too. I done everything you wrote and it helped me. But after I quit the game and than started again the issue came back ☹️

    @crinrict well the whole thing is a little bit weird.
    If i put everything back and play with that save i tested it doesnt work - but if i go out of the save and start a new game it work without problems.
    So my conclusion is because its only this specific Savefile that its broken.

    @crinrictHi its me again - so the bug still occurs also in other save files. Its weird because sometimes is there sometimes is gone. I cant find a really reason for it.
    But i figured out that even if you cant use the buttons and its grayed out, you can still use (Strg+Y / Ctrl+Y) and this works, not only works but kind of unblocked the Undo & redo button. And then everything is fine.
    I really don't have a logical answer for this but maybe it will help others in future.
