Vampire won't drink any plasma packs autonomously/auto-solved

Me and my girlfriend use completely different pc rigs, and we both have the same issue.

My house hold has 3 people and hers 2 all vampires, none of the vampires are automatically feeding from plasma bags of either type or the plasma fruit, dont matter if its in the fridge, inventory or both they just wont seem to eat unless we force them, even if we are at another location from the house hold, no one in the house hold is feeding.

Ive had 2 vampires now starve to death because of this, neither of us use mods, we both have the latest version of sims.

All other sim types eat just fine, its only the vampires doing this.

When I am playing I have to micromanage my sims to make them drink plasma and from my understanding they should be drinking straight from their inventory. It is taking so much time and I am very frustrated. I have no mods and nothing extra other than the below -

I have had this same problem for YEARS and have been waiting for a bug patch. I'm actually about to buy it for PC, but I am terrified I'll waste my money on another bugged game, although it seems more fixable for PC than console.

Same issue on ps4 vampires will not auto eat from bought packs, frog packs or from plasma fruit. Yes, i deleted them all out and tried again. Would be great if the game worked as it should have before they released them.

  Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? There are no steps they just won’t drink automatically from inventory or from anywhere outside of it. They will continue to starve until I manually do it. And I play with full autonomy on. But disabled auto when selected sim.

So far i tested without mods like completly disabled all just dlc enabled are dogs and cats, season and vampire it self. So i created new sim and home everything and tried ti get the sim drink plasma pack by using auto solve still saying no food even there is plasma pack inventory tried as well outside and placed around at the kitchen. Still no 

only that works is the plasma fruit would do but not the plasma pack what so ever.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play with vampires in live mode, buy them some plasma packs. They then get thirsty, but never drink those plasma packs, even when clicking on auto-solve button
What happens when the bug occurs? I know this is an old problem, but I want to post this once again to remind about this very serious problem. There is something wrong with vampire autonomy, in particular, thirst. No matter if there are any plasma packs in the fridge, on the table, or in that vampire sims inventory, they just never autonomously drink it. The hunger basically gets to red, where they desperately need some plasma, but they never auto drink it from their inventory. And even if you click on auto solve button, it just doesn't work. So every time I play with vampires, I have to manually go into their inventory, click on plasma pack, and click drink. It is insanely annoying and quite tedious, especially when playing with large families of vampires. I have read plenty of bug reports and I know, that this is a problem for both Pc and console players. Also I know that by far there is no way to fix this, the problem is in the game coding. That is why, as I already said, I am posting this again, to attract some attention. This problem really needs to be fixed, so I'm hoping the developers see this!
What do you expect to see? Vampires should autonomously take plasma packs out of their inventory and drink them, when they get thirsty.

I expect TS4 developers to see this and finally fix this problem, as it has been present for many many years

I have found the only resolve for this after experiencing it on every released console/pc/mac (i bought it for all hoping at least one platform would work and sadly none of them do) is to have a bar where you can hire mixologists. you character can auto buy plasma coctails and drink those. its alot of extra time and money and they will spend a good deal of time there, but its the only fix that sort of works. becomes less effective with multiple vampires in the household.
