walls appearing to not exist - can't paint or eyedropper, can't place windows
Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.90.375.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? On a bigger lot, spend 2-3 hours building, and eventually, the walls - for lack of better way to explain it - stop existing.
What happens when the bug occurs? You can still see the walls, but you can't select them, can't eyedropper wall textures, can't paint them, can't place anything on them.. etc.
What do you expect to see? Walls behaving normally - able to be eydroppered, painted, can place windows or art, etc.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I've never had it happen before the last patch. After the last patch, it happens fairly regularly. With or without mods.
The only way I've found to fix it is to restart the game, and it'll all be okay for a while. Then, it will go back to where it will select anything that's past the wall you're trying to click on instead of the wall and I'll need to restart yet again. I'm a streamer, and having to constantly restart the game when working on bigger lot builds is SUPER distracting and detrimental to the stream.
