@madadhallaidh111 I have seen this issue with the sims not going to work in my game. The action will cancel and they will wander off to do something else and I have to tell them to go manually.
For the autonomy, your sim if not alone may be waiting for another sim to interact with them, even from across the whole neighborhood so they will stand and wait. Or they are waiting for another sim to interact with, as in, the other sim is busy so they are waiting for them.
To find your game version you can press the buttons and triggers at the same time to bring up the cheat window while the game is open. (You can do this from the start screen of the game) Once it's open type in the word Version. Once the window pops open, scroll all the way to the top of the list to where you see the word BASE. The numbers after BASE is your game version.
The bug forum is one issue per report. If you can delete the info about the autonomy and just make this about the not going to work, that would be very helpful.
The action isn't cancelling, it won't come up at all and the game won't register that are even meant to go to work. The notifications bar doesn't even have an hour's warning anymore.
They don't wander off and do something else because autonomy isn't working. They just stand for hours, not doing anything until I tell them to.
As for the autonomy, it's not that anyone is trying to talk to them. This is happening with all 3 aims in my game and they will just stand for however long I leave them. Days and days I have fast forwarded through.
(My Sims have alot of points and don't regularly need to fix their needs)
- @madadhallaidh111 Can you save these sims to your library, then place them down in a new game to see if the issue is happening with them in a new game.
