[WORKAROUND] Can't click anything beyond the UI

    I solved the problem

    in normal Windows settings must be specified: displaying text size medium 125%

    Control Panel \ Appearance and Personalization \ Display

    I do not consider it perfect for removing problem, I think the game should work in a standard setup, but before you go out and patch repair is sufficient remedy.

    ive swiched the text to 125% and it helped for a while, 20 mins later it happend again so i restarted the game and it still didnt work!!!

    Why cant EA make a patch so it will work like a normal game!!!!!!!!

    Ive been waiting for ages for this game and it dosent work on my computer, but for youtube people it works.

    i hope we can permenantly fix this problem soon.

    P.S: My older brother sais it could be because of a program or somthing i installed but we deleted all of my spam programs and it still didnt work. Maby its hidden spyware doing this.

    If you have this problem try using a computer scanner to search for malwear, and delete any unwanted programs like NCH because they might be causing problems.

    If anyone has a perminant solution please notify me, i really want to play this game!!!!

      Did you try the logging out of your Windows account and back in ?

        My wife and I are experiencing the same broken game behavior.  I have tried all of the fixes with no luck..

    I tried setting everything to 125% like everyone said. and it worked.. For a day....

    I don't really know what else to try. HELP

    I've tried doing that. Resetting it to 125% but still nope. I can't get it to work. Anyone please? I can't click on anything at all. I can't click on the UI but that's it. Not other sims, not other objects. The only other option I have is to remove my game which I don't wanna do. Please help? Anyone else having this issue?
