[WORKAROUND] Can't go on a date to the restaurant and bar

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? Polski
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.45.62.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansions, game packs and stuff packs.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When going on a date to a venue - restaurant, park, library or bar.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't go to a restaurant, bar, park , library on a date only one venue is available for me when i play sims 4.
What do you expect to see? I should go on a date to any venue any time .
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Marked Workaround as Solution for Visibility. This is still an open issue.

I checked the save that I got from Carlie and I can duplicate the issue on that save.

I have however found a workaround. It's not all lots, too, weirdly enough.

With mods removed, try going to map view and enter all affected lots in build mode. You just need to enter, nothing else. So enter, close and then move to the next one. This has unlocked the lot for me and made it available for dates again.

I don't know for sure what's causing the issue but I will need you both to remove all your mods and see if it occurs on a vanilla (new) game. If it doesn't, start putting back your mods to find out which one is causing it.

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)

Tray Folder

Screenshots/Videos/Custom music

Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)

Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....

Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

I uninstalled the game from origin and installed again, I started a new game with random sim couple and tried to go on a date . The game always says that the venue is noy available. This a big problem because I my sim has the love aspiration to become a good wife. She must go on dates to complete this aspiration. I use to go on dates by phone or ask a sim. I only use mc and no censorship by moxiemason from mts mods,I use luumia skin. Nothing more. Th problem is with this mods or completely without this mods. I repaired the game, I unistalled it and reinstalled it, started a new game. Nothing helped me.I used cc cleaener but this doesn't helped. When try to go to the restaurants, bars and parks from my libriary or from the gallery. or from the game maps The game always says that the lot is not available. It is always one lot available.I do not know what is causing it.

Just tried on my save to be sure it's still working and have no problem with any of my lots.

Hi! I'm having the same problem - I've removed my mods - I've repaired my game and I've tried a new game file but it's still not working - could it be broken because of the last patch?

Hi Crinrict Carlie _M_Cullen.
Yesterday I reinstalled windows and installed the sims 4 again. I have found a workaround to . I reinstalled the whole buildings from the sims 4 expansions,gamestuff and stuff packs. I build the venues twice and now I can go on a date. Something in the my library is wrong but I do not know what. I played just today for 5 houres with only the game without the mods and know is just fine. That a very strange bug in the game. Thank you Crinrict to find a workaround. You are a great help for simmers .
