[WORKAROUND] Can't put stacks from Sims inventory to the fridge

After 11/04/2014 update I can't put any stack of fruits or vegetables in my sim's inventory directly to the fridge. My only solution is to place the item in the room (only one piece), then I can move...

    I have the same issue too. You don't have to drag your fruits/ingredients to the floor first though. Use the "open" interaction on the fridge and drag it into the space that opens on the right of the screen.

    My game has absolutely no mods.

I noticed they've changed where to click on the fruits to drag, have you tried dragging on the main icon area since the update?  It used to be the small upper right corner you had to drag with.
