[WORKAROUND] Print Screen Key not working on Windows 11

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.103.250.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them except for a handful of Kits.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? Print Screen on keyboard don't work.
What do you expect to see? Print Screen key working as it used to before For Rent.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

After Installing For Rent the PrtSc (Print Screen) Key no longer works in the game. I used it all the time since the C-key is terribly unprecise and just grabs the whole screen, while the PrtSc allows us to capture just parts of the screen. I need it back. As soon as I Alt Tab out of the game, it works as always, so definately a game issue.

    Restarted the game and rebooted the laptop, and finally managed to get it to work by using the key-combo Win-Shift-S. It will have to do for now. 
    I accept this as the solution, in case someone else have the same issue.

    @BylineBelife Hm. works fine for me. do you just use plain PrtSc or also some combination to get only part ? There are several ways to achive part screens

    I tested Windwos-Shift-S the snapping tool and just printscreen (which does take a screenshot of all my screens though)

    With Windows 11 we got about a year ago, a new Screen Print tool built into Win. It have many functions of which one is to capture only parts of the screen. Absolutely vital, once you've gotten used to it. I take all my screen caps with it since it means I don't have to open Photoshop and edit my screenshots, I can do it directly on the screen. It worked just fine in the game, until two days ago. Now it doesn't even take a regular screenshot in game, but forces me to use the C-key which is useless for most occasions.

    @crinrict Yes, I've pulled the whole mods folder and deleted to localthumbscache, I've tried all different key combinations, though usually, it's just enough to hit the PrntSrn key. I'm at a loss. And it isn't a system issue, as it works outside of the game. Thanks for trying.
