I JUST FIXED IT! It's either the "less frequently push ups" mod or the "risky woohoo mod" (I had the 20% one). I removed them both and now it works. Maybe it's just one of them, but since they're pretty popular mods, if you have them try removing them and then play. I found it out by diving my mods in half, and then that half in half, and so on!
I had these problems:
Sim not doing actions, not moving, but gauge still going, needs decaying, time still going;
Sim not showing any animation during action, frozen;
Actions resetting while attempting to do them (like preparing a meal);
Actions being done far away from the object needed to complete said action (sim in the living room, computer in the bedroom, "play videogames" on the computer, sim would not move, computer turns on and plays "on its own");
Actions not increasing the skill ("practice moves", sim would not move, gauge would go on, skill bar absent/not increasing, same with gym activities).
I hope it can help someone! I still have some mods to put back in the folder, so I may have some other mods that are conflicting (I hope not). In case, I will keep you updated.
