This problem is severe and there are more than two years worth of report history. This must be documented and analyzed objectively since it hasn't been officially identified and no one is solving it without rolling back their data.
- I've encountered this after errors which occurred during calling of functions from the drama_scheduler python script were reported within lastException.
- The error returned was the following: File "T:\InGame\Gameplay\Scripts\Server\drama_scheduler\drama_scheduler.py", line 304, in _process_scoring TypeError: exception() got an unexpected keyword argument 'xc'
- The problem occurs when one or more sims autonomously engage in an activity which triggers the function call.
- The problem is not related to specific objects or activities however it appears to only happen during autonomous activity.
- The problem is not mod-related and cannot be eliminated by removing mods, disabling scripts, or resetting objects.
- The state of household activities cannot be reset by resetting the household, or re-launching the game after saving.
- It is possible to advance frozen sims to the next interaction by toggling pause or switching out of the game window while in full-screen mode. The entire household will once again freeze after the interaction has been completed.
- Removal or relocation of the object which the sim interacted with initially will cause the sim to 'slide' into the next interaction and that particular group will resume for one interaction.
- Any attempt to re-enable autonomy through game options causes the entire engine to freeze.
- The problem tends to affect a specific household however I've seen it occur with two households to date therefore an element of household data is obviously related.
- System capacity and drivers are not related to this problem.
This should be fairly easy to eliminate with the volume of reports and the commonalities between issues which are related to task scheduling.
