Really liking these ideas here.
I agree that we are in need of more Personality Traits in our Sims 4.
I've made a topic on my own ideas on Personality Traits as well as Reward Traits here:
https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/973342/some-ideas-on-reward-traits-and-other-traits
Here are some other ideas on Personality Traits. Though I'm certain some of these traits have already been brought up before.
Regardless, here they are.
1.) Technophobe
Sims with this trait fear and despise Technology. From Television to Computers, they want nothing to do with it. They will either get Tense and/or Uncomfortable around Electronics. The Negative Moodlet(s) become more potent depending on how High Tech the object is within their vicinity.
If the University Expansion Pack is installed, Technophobes will react negatively toward Servos.
2.) Eccentric
These Sims are both Creatively and Intellectually gifted. They will build up both Creative and Intellectual skills much faster, but their Social skills will be more difficult to build up. Eccentric Sims find it hard to act "normal" around other Sims. Some Sims will see them as Socially Inept or even Erratic. Those who are Eccentric might develop some noticeable quarks like only eating a specific type of food and/or reacting differently towards certain situations.
3.) Sophisticated
Sophisticated Sims possess strong social related principles. They tend to be more neat and proper than other Sims. They possess unique social interactions that are related to their trait. Though not exactly Snobs, they will possess refined tastes and will not hesitate to give polite but negative remarks on what they find rather crass and/or distasteful. Be warned though. There is certainly a difference between Ethics and Civility.
4.) Disciplined
Disciplined Sims are serious and hard working. They often receive the Focused Emotion and will excel faster in their careers. Being Playful is simply null/void to them though. They might become Tense and/or Angry when around Sims that are either Lazy and/or Goofballs.
5.) Daft
Daft Sims are certainly not the "sharpest tool in the shed". They often become Dazed and will find it extremely difficult to build up their Intellectual skills. Best keep a close eye on them as well. They tend to react even less rationally than average Sims when it comes to emergency scenarios. For example, if there is ever to be a fire on your lot, the Daft Sim is more likely to cause more damage while reacting to the fire or attempting to extinguish the fire.
6.) Humble
It is far less likely if even possible for a Humble Sim to become Confident. Humble Sims don't see themselves to be "the best" nor do they desire to be. They often make self deprecating jokes and compliment others on their skills and achievements. Though they seek little to no admiration and praise, they are not self loathing.
So what do you think?
Glad to see others are coming up with more ideas on Personality Traits.
I personally believe we should implement more Reward Traits as well as Genetic/Inherited Traits. Though some might argue that more Reward Traits might break the game.
