@Jes2G So, in CAS when you go into Manage Household, I create a new Sim from scratch and then change the relationship status to whichever Sim I want him/her to marry. So...for instance, with Dylon and his new wife, Zoey. I created her, randomized her traits and aspiration, then clicked on the relationship panel and made Dylon her husband instead of roommate. Again, I would never do this in my legacy house, but it keeps the family growing and prevents me from having to play them. Then, when I'm ready for them to have a child, I'll just go back into Manage Household/CAS and use the DNA to create a child for them. I use the first one that pops up--roll traits and an aspiration(the aspiration really doesn't matter), give him/her a name, and then, poof, a child and the family tree grows! Does that make sense?
The catch is, you can only edit relationships for new Sims, so you have to make one. You can't use a childhood friend or anything. They will only be roommates until your Sim proposes and they marry. So that's why I always create a new one!
Ohhhh! Now THAT is handy! And certainly easier than playing with them and scouring all over town lol. I'll remember that! Thanks for explaining.
