Sadly I wasn't around 3 months ago :p I got ts4 just over 2 months ago, I did read stories a week before I got it...I did see yours but I don't think I started to read it til after I got the game.
Tech issues are no fun. I rarely have them because my SO is always tweaking my computer and making sure it stays okay. Hopefully yours fixes itself :(
