A banking system would be a nice addition, but then again I suppose I wouldn´t be satisfied with it. In Sims 2 I have the mods to set up my own economy and since it is a mod thing instead of inbuilt I can change my rules according to the neighborhood I´m playing in. (For example in Sim Francisco college costs 20.000 simoleon, but you can request interest free loans from the state. In Desiderata Valley education free, you can only take loans from private persons and social class is a much more important factor than wealth.) Also personal accounts were easily manageable as long as we still had a bios window to write in stuff (in Sims 2 and 3). With TS 4 I´m back to pen and scratch paper for this purpose :( So, yeah, diehard sandbox player here. If it´s done non-intrusive and customizeable, all the power to a banking system! If not, then I´d rather keep my freedom to add whatever I like to a skeleton than having to mod out everything I do not want from an official system that´s possibly clashing with my desires.
