Hi @A_Ritsuka! The rules that @Xoxk9 posted state that the teen can get a part-time job once they have a fixed address (a house with at least 4 walls, 1 door, 1 window, 1 toilet, 1 bed and 1 sink). So, your young adult can certainly work part-time as long as he/she meets the "fixed address" criteria. Personally, I wouldn't let the young adult work full-time until the last child becomes a teen. It's not addressed in the official rules, though.
There are lots of other ways the young adult can earn money until the child ages up, like painting, collecting, fishing, gardening, etc. I found that my challenge family did pretty well earning money that way. When the kids aren't in school, they can help earn money, too! Fishing helps with their mental skill.
