Add more musical instruments!
So as a band kid (flute player), I'd love to see more instruments in the game. It's really great to have the piano and violin in TS4, but I want to see things like the flute, clarinet, saxophone, tuba...

Yea, you can earn tips... There's no clear "play for tips" option, but if your skill is high enough, (using guitar as example) you can choose to "play songs" or "play song..." and if you do that enough and if there are sims around, they'll tip you.
Same goes for the microphone. If your skill is high enough, you can compose routine on the computer, then once you've written some routines, if you choose "perform routine..." on the microphone, sims will tip you for your comedy
