Peeking back in here.
Because RoM brought up talk about a possible werewolf pack, I started thinking about that a lot (more than usual, c'mon Maxis, gimme my were-creatures).
What I'd love would be a Mythology pack. I know we already have vampires and spellcasters, but a pack with a more general myths theme would be great. It could contain werewolves (please have various options for form options for the occult) and faeries and maybe other mythical creatures that we haven't seen yet from a variety of cultures.
The world could feel like an extension of Windenburg's forest area and (now that we have a secret world that's properly accessible even if not fully buildable) have faerie circles that could lead to a Fae Realm with items that make the Sims feel like they've been scaled down. There could be more herbs and collectibles to create salves and talismans, fairy enchantments and even things like changelings (if you're living near a fairy hill, there's a chance that a toddler or child Sim could have a trait changed and you could have an option to reverse it via an offering to the fairies).
It would be fun to also come with market stalls and more selling table options, so you could make a village market. More "natural" or old school needs filling options (to flesh out the Off-The-Grid lot trait): an outhouse, the ability to wash oneself in a stream, tubs to wash toddlers (and possibly babies), a small cauldron over a fire pit to cook on, blankets to put on the ground to sleep on.
Things that would work well with a bunch of the other DLCs (I love when they're complementing each other): ability to make packs with Get Together, new magic ingredients for spellcasting, natural medicine options for the illnesses for GTW (salves with varied effects: one effect with the Mythodology pack, bonus one when you also have GTW, with a variation of success), recipes that include garlic and have the side-effect of repelling or harming vamps if you have that pack), a festival added to CL, holidays/celebrations into Seasons.
Oh and have the moon cycle implemented (with the option for how it affects werewolves'/shapeshifters' control) - with Seasons you'd get to see when it's coming, without it you'd be in for a surprise unless you're tracking days.
I'm sure Werewolves and Fairies are already on the devs' radar but I'd love if they were included along with a general old-school mythical theme.
