Aww, I’m actually starting to like Caleb and Melinda together. They’ve had more honest and warm conversations than either April or Lilith have had with him this whole story. I would almost begin to ship it but the age difference is still creepy. :D
Don’t tell April that you held his hand though, Mel. Or sat next to him on a bench. Or showed him your drawings. Or any evidence of you being closer to him than she is holy cow. :|
Interesting bit of lore about how vampire families come to be. So they took him from his real parents, raised him, and then turned him into a vampire when he came of age? Is that how it works? Unless they still age when already turned into a vampire, in which case they could have bitten him right away… hmm. I wonder.
Also Caleb think we beat our hearts consciously made me chuckle. The dude really doesn’t remember human life well. :D
