Lilith did say that Melinda was 'refreshing' and has said she enjoyed Melinda's thoughts, so perhaps they flitter at the surface and therefore she doesn't have to intrude quite so deeply.
I am trying to answer things. It's not my fault the story is so very deep and complicated that every answer causes three more questions. OK it is, but... I forget my point. :D I'm almost at the end of part 1 and I was going to ask for feedback, including what burning questions you all wanted answering. I think it's gonna be a big list.
