I mean he could have gotten permission from Myrina. He should have. If Katsumi was pregnant he would have to be sent to the goddess. This way he has a chance. Myrina will have to do something to make things up with poor Katsumi. First she gets passed over for the Gatherer job and now she doesn't have Kale anymore. Who knows maybe Myrina will let Katsumi have a baby. Maybe that will help. At least everyone can be happy knowing Kale is alive and out there somewhere.
