I've never built on such a large lot, so this was difficult for me. I'm not feeling 100 about how it turned out, personally. I did update this build and added a basement room and bathroom and a nursery upstairs.
Little backstory why the basement room is so aesthetically different. The basement is a new edition to the home and was added when the original owner’s family grew. The eldest loved mountain spaces, and often wanted to go camping, so the patriarch added the bedroom and gave it a cabin feel for his child.
